Obituary For Virginia F. Dixon
We bid farewell to Virginia F. Dixon (Tulsa, Oklahoma), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 2, 2024 at the age of 63. Virginia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Virginia had on those they encountered along their journey. Though Virginia may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, their essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM at the Jack’s Memory Chapel (801 E 36th St N, Tulsa, OK 74106). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the New Heights Christian Center (5300 N Lewis Ave, Tulsa, OK 74106).

It saddens me to announce the passing of Dr. Virginia Dixon Colbert, who took ill recently and was hospitalized, but did not recover. She lost her husband Deacon Sylvester Colbert just a few months ago. Please keep her daughters Stephanie and Ashley Dixon and Family lifted in your prayers.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday, February 18, 2023 Metropolitan Baptist Church 1200 Mercantile Lane Largo, MD 20774
Family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m.
The Service will be Livestreamed on Metropolitan’s website.
Covid Protocols are still required. 1. Masks are to be worn at all times in the building. 2. All attendees must be fully vaccinated 3. Non-vaccinated persons must show a copy of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the day of the service.
