Obituary For Nurney Mason

Greetings Metropolitan Family,

Please lift Rev. Dr. Nurney K. Mason, wife Kay and Family in your prayers in the passing of his father, Mr. Nurney Mason.

Nurney Mason, originally from Courtland, Virginia, has passed away. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Following his military service, Nurney attended Phelps Vocational School in Washington, D.C.

He worked at Mason’s Barbershop, an institution in the Capitol Hill community, and at the House Cuts Congressional Barbershop in the Rayburn Building of the United States of Representatives. Nurney also served in the United States Army.
