Obituary For John L. Williams

Sgt. John L. Williams USMC, 24, of King William, went Home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 7, 2024. He was welcomed there by his mother, Carolyn Ruffin; father, Stewart Anderson; and brother, Alfonso Williams, Jr., all of whom preceded him in death. John is survived by his wife, Tyara Williams; three children, Austin, Reign, and Kamryn; as well as other family members.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Aylett Chapel of the B. W. White Funeral Home, 7837 Rich-Tapp Hwy. Homegoing services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Mangohick Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
