Obituary For Herbert Andre Hilliard

Please keep Servant Sharon Hilliard and Elder Betty Fitzpatrick in prayer in the passing of their father and brother, Mr. Herbert A. Hilliard, respectively.

Herbert A. Hilliard peacefully transitioned to eternal life on Friday, December 27, 2024, at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. He was born in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. Since childhood Herbert has been a longstanding DC resident. He lived a full life and was an Army Veteran and a DC General Hospital retiree. He leaves to cherish fond memories, three daughters, Sharon Hilliard, Karen Hilliard Jackson (Eric) and Kimberly Hilliard; two grandchildren, Nia and Jelani (Stacey); a brother, Carlyle and two sisters, Corrine and Elizabeth and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family welcomes friends to attend his service at his home church, Enon Baptist Church, 5200 Temple Hills Road, Temple Hills, MD 20748 on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Viewing, 9 a.m. until time of Service, 10 a.m. Interment, 2 p.m. Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA 22172. In lieu of flowers, please give a love offering in his memory to his home church through Zelle; Enon Baptist Church (703) 855-8617 or by mail.
