Obituary For George W. Fisher

Rev. George W. Fisher Sr. of Denton, Maryland passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 25th, 2025. George was the son of the late Deacon William Fisher and Mother Virginia Stanford Fisher. He is survived by his wife, Patricia and three children, Terry (Thompson), George Jr. and Carla (Williams). George was blessed with six grandchildren, as well as two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his eldest daughter, Katrina I. Fisher.

The service will be held on June 14th, 2025 at St. Luke’s Methodist Church, 100 S. Fifth Ave. Denton, Maryland. Friends may visit with the family at 10. A Celebration of Life will begin at 11. Interment will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Denton, Maryland.
