Mr. Columbus Brown, 88, of 205 Lane Ridge Dr., Goldsboro, NC, passed away, Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Goldsboro Assisted Living, Goldsboro, NC. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Brown and Emma Brown; seven siblings, Magdeline, Catherine, Mattie, Delores, Camilous, James and Leroy.He leaves to mourn: two daughters, Carolyn Young-Bey (Lawrence), of Goldsboro, NC and Stephanie Captain (Anthony) of Ohio; five grandchildren, Tynika Horne, Latanya Robinson, Maurice Harrison, Addison Captain and Adrienne Captain; one great granddaughter, Trinity Robinson; three great grandsons, Tyon Horne, Jr., Tyren Horne and Diamonte Robinson; one great-great granddaughter, Sky Noelle Horne; two sisters, Evelyn Johnson of Temple Hills, MD and Mary Johnson of Upper Marlboro, MD; one brother, Wesley Brown (Angeline) of Roxboro, NC; one sister-in-law, Marion M. Brown of Wilson, NC; one aunt, Cora Williams of Wilson, NC; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
