Fred “Trey” Mason III

Organist, Director, Chorus Choir and, the Young & Adult Fellowship Ensemble

Fred “Trey” Mason, III is a native of Durham, NC and currently resides in Alexandria, VA. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Hampton University.

Trey began his music training at age 5 by learning to play the piano. He began formal lessons at age 9 and continued his study throughout his school and college years. He has served as church pianist, organist, choir director, music director, and minister of music for churches since age 13.

Currently, Trey is a staff musician at the Metropolitan Baptist Church where he serves as a choral director and church organist. He directs the Young & Adult Fellowship Ensemble (YAFE) and the Chorus Choir. 

Trey has a heart for service and loves to lead people in the worship and praise of our Creator.
