With performances often described as spirit-filled, soulful, passionate, and chilling, Chanda Brown-Wilson Sandidge is using her liveliness and her rich vocals to touch lives daily through music. She also has giftings in administration and customer service as she serves our congregation well. 

Chanda serves as the Praise and Worship Leader as well as the Realm Administrator for the Historic Metropolitan Baptist Church. As a daughter of Metropolitan, she has served in multiple ministries including the Music and Arts Ministry (Senior Choir/Magnificat! Dancers/Handbell Choir), Deaf Ministry, Multimedia Ministry, Youth/Teen Ministry, and Alpha and Omega Step Team.

Chanda is a native of Washington, DC and a graduate of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore where she received a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Music in 2010. Upon graduation, she continued to grow musically while leading praise and worship at Bible study where her confidence grew, and her style developed. Chanda’s role as the Realm Administrator gives her the opportunity to engage with people and empower them to engage with their ministries via technology.
