Women’s Ministry

The Mission of the Women’s Ministry is to love, encourage, equip, edify and empower the young ladies and women of Metropolitan Baptist Church to take their God-ordained place within the Kingdom of God, exercising their gift’s, talents and skills to the glory of God! We accomplish our mission through a covenant of prayer, study and a commitment to unity and oneness in Christ Jesus.

As women of God we are committed to service and leadership. We are a Christ-centered ministry that loves, encourages, uplifts and supports sisters of all ages as they exercise their God given gift’s and talents to share their faith and lead others to Christ.

Meetings are held the third Saturday of the month.

The Mission of Tweens and Teens is to foster spiritual growth, promote a positive lifestyle and equip Metropolitan’s young girls ages 10-17 with tools to live intentionally for Christ. It strives to impart wisdom, love and a good foundation upon which the girls will spiritually mature and remain spiritually grounded. Topics that are addressed include but are not limited to: Healthy self images, college and career readiness, emotional intelligence, bullying, and understanding change.
