The mission of The H. Beecher Hicks Jr. Reading Library is to provide reading resources and select learning events that will enhance the spiritual growth and enrichment of individuals, families, and church ministries.
The Library contains a wealth of knowledge in the fields of religion and related disciplines. It provides provocative material for preachers, seminarians, biblical scholars, Christian educators and lifelong learners. The collection is carefully chosen to encourage research and shape interest in the areas of theological and religious studies and African American history.
The Library offers unique programs such as preaching clinics, lecture series, featured author events, field activities and church ministry collaborations. It is open to all researchers and provides reading materials for all ages.
