Adult Usher Ministry

The Adult Usher Ministry works collectively as a team creating a warm and friendly environment where all those entering Metropolitan feel welcomed as we seat congregants in the most pleasant and efficient manner possible. We also meet the needs of the congregation especially those with disabilities during worship service; are on alert for persons who may have a medical crisis; handle large crowds and guests; serve at funerals and special services; serve as guides escorting visitors throughout the church; and serve in any capacity deemed necessary for the orderly flow of the service. Adult ushers consist of persons over the age of 18 who have the gift of service and hospitality.

We meet monthly except for July and August.
