Worship Service

The third advent candle is called “the Shepherd’s Candle,” and the shepherds’ section of
the Christmas story is very much about JOY. To the shepherd’s great joy, the angels announced that Jesus came for humble, unimportant people like them, too. In liturgy, the color rose signifies joy.

On Sunday December 17, our youth will lead our Worship Experience and the poem,  “A Shepherd’s Song” by Langston Hughes will be performed by Tyrese Reed. Celebrate the joy of Christ with the youth of Metropolitan!
