The “hope and future” God promised, the 7th Senior Servant of our beloved Metropolitan Baptist Church, Dr. George Lewis Parks Jr., will mount the pulpit on the 5th Sunday in July and preach his first of many sermons with us! You don’t want to miss this very special service and moment in the life of our church. Invite 5 people and come prepared to worship God in a new way. Come participate in the future God planned just for Metropolitan! Wear your traditional church attire and your favorite shade(s) of purple.
He’s almost here, Metropolitan! Our Pastor-Elect, Dr. George Lewis Parks Jr., will preach his first sermon with us on July 30, 2023.
