Social Justice and Public Policy Ministry

March 29 @ 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The Social Justice and Public Policy Ministry invites the MBC community to a discussion geared towards better learning and understanding strategies needed when encountering police officers. “You and the Law”, is based on the nationally recognized community education and information program “What to Do When Stopped by the Police”, developed by Black law enforcement. Knowing and understanding your rights and obligations during police encounters IS NOT AN OPTION, IT IS A REQUIREMENT. Come out on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM in K-Hall at Metropolitan Baptist, learn from the men and women of color who do it for a living. Parents, bring your sons and daughters to this all-important presentation! It could save their lives. This discussion is recommended for teens and adults. Register on REALM today!
