The Bereavement Ministry is offering GriefShare Sessions this spring on Wednesdays through May 24 at 10 AM and 7 PM ET.
If you have lost a family member or someone special to your heart, then we encourage you to take part in this support group that will provide you with the tools to go through the grieving process during this difficult time.
Topics include: Is Grief Normal?, Guilt and Anger, Challenges of Grief During The COVID Season, and Establishing a New Normal After Grief.

Part One, taught by Dr. Jesse Wood, ends on April 4 at 7 PM ET and focuses on the Creeds of the Churches, the Baptist Creed, the New Hampshire Confession, and Articles one through nine.

THE BIBLE CHALLENGE IS BACK for the Lenten Season and everyone is invited to participate! Will you take the Bible Challenge? We are reading THE BOOK OF ROMANS during our 40 Days of Power and Prayer. Each week you will have a Sabbath rest. As you read, just check off the reading assignment for the day.
Those who complete the Challenge and turn in their Registration Form by Sunday, April 16, 2023, will be entered into a drawing.

40 Days of Power Bible Study is here! Dr. Louis J. Hutchinson III is our instructor for “A Way Out of No Way”, a six-week Bible Study class that will meet every Tuesday night thru March 28 at 7 PM ET.
This class is for anyone who desires to learn how to tap into the POWER of God within us. If you need a strategy for overcoming challenges or obstacles in your life, we believe this class is for you.

Christianity 102 is an eight-week Scripturally based, interactive class, focused on eight principles and eight promises that God has given to his sons and daughters. Learn about the corresponding responsibilities and privileges we have to live in ways that please God. Become amazed at how you grow as you study, memorize, discuss, and apply the Scripture verses presented each week.

Metropolitan Youth! Children and Youth Church is a fun place for kids PreK-3 through 12th grade to learn lessons about God’s love!
Meet us on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Sundays in the Administrative wing of the church while parents and guardians are in 10 AM Worship!
We want each of you to attend this spiritually engaging and fun experience we call Children and Youth Church; so, make sure your parents get you vaccinated and be sure to wear a mask.

Rev. Clarafrancie Cromer-Sowers is preparing to bring a powerful message to us on the 3rd Sunday. Rev. Adriane Blair-Wise is excited to minister to us as we share in Holy Communion on March 26.
Metropolitan, the Emerge Young Adult Ministry would like to invite married, engaged, and dating young adult couples for a “Date Night” at Blackwall Barn and Lodge on Friday, March 31st at 7 PM.
Couples will experience great food, games, and conversation that’s designed to spiritually strengthen married couples and encourage engaged and dating couples on their journey toward marriage.

**POSTPONED** The Marriage Enrichment Ministry invites all engaged and married couples to join us for a COUPLES GOLF NIGHT! Meet the ministry for a fun-filled COUPLES GOLF NIGHT at Top Golf National Harbor. This is a time for couples to fellowship and even work on their golf games together.

Men!!! Join the Mighty Men’s Ministry as we begin our study of Stepping Up: A Call to Courageous Manhood by Dennis Rainey.
Zoom sessions begin Thursday, February 16th at 7:00 PM and end April 20th.
We’ll learn what Biblical manhood looks like and what it means to be a godly man in modern times.

Church Family, we need volunteers to support the Multimedia Ministry in numerous capacities as we faithfully broadcast in-person and online services to our members, the local community, and the world. Making sure the Word is evangelized weekly is our most sacred duty.
You can assist with executing camera direction, running pro-presenter, lighting, audio and mic setup, as well as other duties. Choir members, we especially need your help assisting with lyric displays! If you or someone you know is willing to dedicate 3-5 hours per week to support this vital service to the church, please plan to join us for our next training session on March 18, 2023, at 10 AM ET.
No technical background is needed for most jobs, but it could be helpful.

Metropolitan’s Transportation Ministry is available to transport seniors and members to and from church and ministry events. Whether a loved one needs a ride or you need a pick-up from the Largo Metro Station, we are here to serve.

It’s Ladies Night on Friday, March 10 at 7 PM ET! You’ll want to invite all of your girlfriends to our Music and Comedy Explosion featuring Stellar Award Winner and Dove nominated Gospel Artist, Maurette Brown Clark! She will be in the building, live and she’s ready to have a Praise Party with us!
