Do you have a heart for serving bereaved families? Have you been comforted during your personal time of grieving? If so, the Bereavement Ministry is the place where you can serve and support others as they move through the grieving process. Let us hear from you at bereavement@metropolitanbaptist.org. Send us a note with your name, phone number, and email address! Someone from the ministry will reach out to you soon.
Grieving is not limited solely to the physical loss of a loved one. It can be associated with any loss. The loss of jobs, relationships, and physical health are examples of grief. Come join the Bereavement Ministry on Saturday, June 3rd from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET for “Care: Everyone Needs It.” Rev. Dr. Jamie Eaddy Chism will help us to navigate the grief gap that can exist in this space. The deadline to enroll is May 31st so register today on REALM or email bereavement@metropolitanbaptist.org.

There is incredible power and potential in prayer. Through prayer, we invite the God of the Universe into a situation and into our lives. Prayer changes things; but even more, prayer changes us. Through prayer, we have the opportunity to reach our full potential in Christ.
If you or someone you know is in need of prayer, please share their names by emailing prayer@metropolitanbaptist.org and we will add them to our prayer list! Consider joining us for any of our weekly prayer calls! There’s one for everyone!
