Street Ministry / Central Union Mission
Email
Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? Isaiah 58:6
The mission of the Street Ministry is to bring those outside of the church into a redemptive relationship with Jesus Christ. We strive to fulfill this mission as we endeavor to serve God’s people by engaging in effective, relevant outreach in the metropolitan Washington, DC and Prince Georges County homeless communities. We provide a worship service with The Central Union on the first Thursday of each month. In Prince Georges County, we have connected with the state/county office on Faith-Based Community Outreach/Office of Housing and Homeless Services in efforts to partner with them and with other outreach ministries to meet the needs of our new community.
