A Message From Our Pastor

Metropolitan,

Women’s History Month continues and we are so excited about this weekend’s events for all of the Women of Metropolitan! They continue to explore relevant topics under the theme “Called, Crowned, Committed – for Such a Time as This, SHE SHALL LEAD”, from the book of Esther 4:14.

Last Friday, the myth of the Black superwoman was explored during the MBC Sister Chat . Over 120 of our women participated! TONIGHT, Friday, March 12 at 7 PM ET is Movie Night! We’ll be screening She Did That, a documentary that explores the pursuits of Black female entrepreneurs as they build their businesses, legacies, and create opportunities for the next generation . It will be an empowering experience as Sister Riche Holmes Grant shares her own entrepreneurial journey and facilitates a discussion about the film afterwards (Register here).

On TOMORROW, Saturday, March 13 , 2 PM ET the exploration continues with the The RoyalTea,  featuri ng co-founder of Black Voters Matter, Sister LaTosha Brown (Register here) ! It is sure to be an impactful message on how important it is to find and use your voice to uplift others.

Then on Sunday, March 14 we look forward to having you join us during one of our worship services. We are delighted to welcome Rev. Jewel M. London from The Church Without Walls in Houston, TX. She’s prepared an anointed message from God full of empowerment and encouragement in celebration of Women’s Day! Tune in for a special countdown featuring some familiar faces and be sure to extend warm greetings to Rev. London in our chat rooms!

Please continue to stay safe and to participate in our 40 Days of Power prayer calls, Bible study and Bible challenge!

With Great Care!
