What To Do When Stopped by The Police

Being stopped by a police officer is sometimes a traumatic experience, especially in light of ongoing events involving Black people and law enforcement.
Join the Social Justice and Public Policy Ministry on Saturday, June 17th at 1:30p to hear police professionals explain best practices and on “What to Do When Stopped by the Police.” This program will involve a formal presentation and panel discussion on issues related to how best to address police encounters by members of communities of color. Our panelists will include members of law enforcement, social justice organizations, and a member of the Prince George’s County Police Accountability Board. Remember this is a battle you CAN afford to lose – to just get home safely!
